At GardeningLife365, we believe in having a healthy garden and a healthy body. So we encourage actions that support both. Eating foods that help restore energy, build muscle, and just taste good is ideal. We know that gardening can work up an appetite. However, you may be thirsty more than anything, especially if you’re working in warmer weather conditions. Therefore, we can’t emphasize enough that you should continue to hydrate, as mentioned in our prior post Why Self Care is Important During Gardening. In addition to hydrating, eating a light snack and then indulging in a larger meal later in the day is recommended.
