Fungi can occur when you least expect it. Especially when environmental conditions are favorable. If not controlled, they can infect and ravage plants and lawns to the point of no return. So the most effective way to prevent and control fungus is to get ahead of it.
Thus, using a fungus control product on your lawn and plants during spring before you see signs of fungus is best. Then continue with regular applications of the product, as directed on the label. This should prevent and/or keep fungi under control through the fall.
