With summer quickly approaching, temperatures are rising! Here in the Carolinas, we’re already in the 90s with high humidity and very little rain. During these times and throughout the summer, when hot temperatures are expected, it’s important to water, water, water. 💦

Your plants need daily watering to survive after hot summer days. It’s best to water in the morning when it’s cooler, typically around 6:00 to 8:00 am. This allows water to reach the root zone before it evaporates in the heat. Evenings are the second-best option for watering. But if midday is the only available time, some water is better than none.
